Cherokee County TDA is sponsoring the America 250 Window Decor Contest! The deadline was Monday, May 25. We do realize that it rained almost every day leading up to this deadline. That's why we are giving everyone the remainder of this week to finish your decorations. Original notice of the contest was emailed to Downtown Businesses and posted to various social media pages. Official judging will take place JUNE 1 - JUNE 5. We have three non-biased judges (people who do not own or work for any downtown business) who will make their determinations for 1st through 5th place prizes. Even if you do not get your decorations up in time for the competition - we would like to encourage everyone to still show some American Pride for the upcoming Cherokee County America 250 Heritage Festival which will be 4PM-Dark on Saturday, July 4th.
