Originating from the Vision for Murphy Main Street, three committees have also been established to develop and guide specific actions related to Downtown Murphy.
Design Committee
GOAL: Work to create an inviting, inclusive atmosphere in Downtown Murphy while celebrating historic character.
Promotions Committee
GOAL: Work towards marketing Downtown Murphy’s defining assets and communicate Downtown Murphy’s unique features through storytelling.
Economic Vitality Committee
GOAL: Work towards building a diverse economic base and creating a catalyst for smart new investment, while growing locally-owned businesses with Downtown Murphy.
