Koneheta Park
The park was developed over a period of years, adding different aspects as time passed.
Presently the facility includes a river walk, baseball fields, soccer field, tennis courts, and most recently a new, muli-million dollar pool and gym complex. In addition there is a kiddie park and picnic area.
The park is supported jointly by the Town of Murphy and Cherokee County. The facility is maintained by a full time county staff that keeps the ground in excellent condition.
The entire facility has a huge lighting system that allows a variety of night activities and sports.
